What is in The Art of the Deal
The Art of the Deal – DJ Trump with T Swartz

I am sure you would like to know about what is in The Art of the Deal book. Well, get a Kindle version or the hard copy to read about the deal-maker himself, Donald Trump.

Well, as the title suggests, it is about business acumen and how to “deal” in the business world.

The Art of the Deal was written in 1987 and it reached number 1 on The New York Times Bestseller list. The book enjoyed this position for 13 weeks, and altogether held a position on the list for 48 weeks.

There has been a lot of controversy about the Art of the Deal book’s authorship. The co-author and journalist, Tony Schwartz, has indicated that he regrets his involvement in helping Trump in writing this book, also asserted that Trump had played no role in the actual writing of The Art of the Deal book.

Trump, while on the presidential campaign trail reminded his audiences of his business-related acumen and authorship. We all know that when a celebrity or political figure comes out with a memoir or autobiographical title, it’s not untypical that a ghost writer does all the heavy lifting.

Leaving the authorship issue aside, it will be good to get a sense of what is in the Art of the Deal book. Here’s a summary:

Summary of The Art of the Deal

This book, available on Kindle reveals how Trump operates his business, his personal life and much more. He is very intentional about meeting the people he needs to meet and shows how he interacts with family and friends, clashes with enemies and how he challenges conventional thinking.

According to the author, Trump has come up with time-tested guidelines for success. “He isolates the common elements in his greatest accomplishments; he shatters myths; he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker’s art. And throughout, Trump talks—really talks—about how he does it. Trump: The Art of the Deal is an unguarded look at the mind of a brilliant entrepreneur—the ultimate read for anyone interested in the man behind the spotlight.”
