Well, as the title suggests, it is about business acumen and how to “deal” in the business world.
The Art of the Deal was written in 1987 and it reached number 1 on The New York Times Bestseller list. The book enjoyed this position for 13 weeks, and altogether held a position on the list for 48 weeks.
There has been a lot of controversy about the Art of the Deal book’s authorship. The co-author and journalist, Tony Schwartz, has indicated that he regrets his involvement in helping Trump in writing this book, also asserted that Trump had played no role in the actual writing of The Art of the Deal book.
Trump, while on the presidential campaign trail reminded his audiences of his business-related acumen and authorship. We all know that when a celebrity or political figure comes out with a memoir or autobiographical title, it’s not untypical that a ghost writer does all the heavy lifting.
